Q: I'm having trouble completing my order on the website, what can I do?

A: Trouble completing your order on the website usually indicates that there is a problem with your shipping address (or UPS's interface is down). If you have verified that your address is correct and are still having trouble, try clearing all of the cookies by clicking here.

Q: I am having trouble using my discount code. What do I do?

A: If you are a new customer you must register for an account before using a discount code. An account can be created by clicking on "create an account" on the left side of the webpage. After creating your account, add your drops to your cart and proceed to checkout where you will enter your discount code. Existing customers need to log in prior to using a discount code.

Q: How do I sign up for an account?

A: Choose the "Create an Account" option from the My Account link above.

Q: How much is shipping to my address?

A: Shipping costs vary widely depending on what UPS charges to deliver to your address. We have provided the tool to the right to connect to the UPS interface which will allow you to get a close estimate.

Q: Is there a discount for a first time buyer?

A: Of course! We offer a one time discount code of 10%. If you have not taken advantage of this code, it is simply FRIEND at checkout.

Q: What are the Backdrops and Floordrops made of?

A: All of our materials are 100% glare - free, guaranteed.

PolyPaper is really not "paper" at all. It is a synthetic material that feels like heavy paper. It's water resistant and will not tear. It's flexible and has a matte finish so there is no glare in any lighting. It's our lowest cost option in backdrops and floordrops. No glare whatsoever!

Vinylcanvas is a durable, pliable material that is a bit heavier than our polypaper option, yet lightweight and manageable for your backdrops and floordrops. It's constructed of fabric between a thin layer of vinyl and is water and tear resistant. Like our polypaper material, it will give you absolutely NO glare in any lighting.

100% Canvas is our highest end offering for backdrop materials. It's luxurious and the same material that canvas prints are printed on. It's got a slight texture and your backdrop design will look like fine art printed on it! Again, absolutely no glare, guaranteed.

All materials are water resistant and tear resistant. No material is completely indestructible, however, and taking care of your backdrops and floordrops is very important to make sure you get the most use from them. To avoid damage, including creases and scratches, handle your backdrops with care and store them rolled.

Q: Can I see the difference in the materials?

A: We would be happy to send you unprinted swatches of our three materials for you to see, feel and compare. Contact us with your shipping address and request we send you samples!

Q: How are the Backdrops and Floordrops printed?

A: Our backdrops and floordrops are printed on a state-of-the-art 60 inch wide format printer. Your drops, especially the Wood line of designs, will be incredibly real looking.

Q: What does the term "floordrop" mean?

A: The purpose of our Drops, specifically our Faux Wood designs, is to be versatile enough to use both behind a subject as well as on the floor under the subject. Thus the terms, "backdrop" and "floordrop".

Q: If I order two of the same design, will the colors match?

A: Our backdrops are printed on a variety of materials, different printers, and from different locations. There may be slight color variations due to a number of factors. Temperature, humidity, ink lot, material coating, and slight differences in the color calibration of the printers can all have an effect on the final printed design. To ensure your printed designs match as closely as possible when ordering multiple drops of the same design, please order them together (in the same order) and on like material. We cannot guarantee an exact color match.

Q: What if I don't have a backdrop stand but want to use your backdrops?

A: There are solutions for using backdrops without a backdrop stand. If you have a flat wall that you can use for your backdrop, 3M makes a great product called Command. The Picture Hanging Strips work well for this application. If you follow the directions on the back of the package, you will have a reusable hanging solution with no alterations whatsoever to your wall. We also have clients use velcro, painter's tape, clamps on a backdrop stand.

Q: Can I use a backdrop or floordrop on carpet?

A: Our products should be used on hard, flat, smooth surfaces only. Use on carpet or bumpy surface could cause damage to the product.

Q: Do you do custom designs?

A: Yes. Depending on when you need your drop, our in-house design department can accommodate most design requests. If you would like color altered on an existing drop, that is possible also. Please note that custom requests may take several days to accommodate.

If you want a design of your own printed, please send design in low resolution for approval BEFORE ordering to customer service at info@luckyfirefly.com. They will then give you info on file size, etc.

Q: Do you only print 60" wide?

A: 60" is the width of our printing capabilities at this time. However, we do offer Double Wides, which are two drops that you will line up next to each other whose design will line up for a seamless look. Several of our designs can be printed as a double wide. Please contact us if you have specific questions.

Q: What is a Double Wide?

A: Double Wides are two (5' wide) drops that you will line up next to each other to make a 10' width. The design will line up for a seamless look. Several of our designs can be printed as a double wide. You will need to cut the edge of one of your doubles with a sharp scissor. This is easily done. Please contact us if you have specific questions.

Q: Is length added to the height or the width of a drop?

A: Each of our drops will have a fixed 5' edge and the other is variable. The orientation depends on the design. When you click on the description of the design it will tell you if it is vertically or horizontally (landscape) oriented. If it says vertical: any extra footage will be added vertically making the drop taller (fixed 5ft width). If it says horizontal (landscape): any extra footage will be added horizontally making the drop wider (fixed 5ft height). **If you have any questions regarding the orientation of a particular design please contact info@luckyfirefly.com for assistance.

Q: Can I have my design or photo made into a backdrop or floor drop?

Q: Do you do custom designs?

A: Yes. Depending on when you need your drop and our time availability, our in-house design department may be able to accommodate. Please see our Custom design page and contact with any questions.

Q: What happens if my backdrop or floordrop gets wet?

A: Due to the nature of our matte finish, any water that gets on a drop should simply allowed to AIR DRY, not wipe. If you plan to use the drop on the floor under 'hazardous' (i.e. animals or children that may urinate, etc), we suggest you protect with a UV spray. Contact customer service for links to sprays that we have found to be good.

Q: How do I further extend the life of my backdrop or floor drop and avoid scratches, etc?

A: Like any piece of fine art, your drop needs to be taken care of. Particularly for floordrops and especially dark floordrops, we suggest spraying with UV lamination spray/scratch resistant spray.

Q: Can I do a cake smash on my drops?

A: Poly and Vinyl materials have the same matte finish and colored frosting may stain. We suggest using piece of plexiglass if you want to do a cake smash. UV Spray has worked for cake smashes (email info@luckyfirefly.com for links and recommendations), however, we make no guarantees as we do not sell or monitor spray application.

Q: How do I store my backdrop or floor drop?

A: To avoid creasing, store your drops rolled or hanging. Contact customer service for more ideas and links.c

Q: How long til my product is shipped?

A: Our usual processing time 1-3 business days, in some cases less depending on our order volume. That does NOT include shipping time. ***CHOOSING EXPEDITED SHIPPING DOES NOT EXPEDITE YOUR ORDER*** If your order is a rush, please contact us and we will in most cases be able to accommodate. However, since we have to rely on shipping companies, we do NOT guarantee arrival dates. Our product is custom and printed to order.

Q: How does my product ship?

A: Our drops ship in a new, innovative, extra strong triangular box.

Q: What are Lemondrop Hours?

A: Lemondrop production area business hours are M-F from 9 am to 5 pm CST. However, we have someone available to answer your emails from 8 am to 8 pm CST.

Q: Can you combine multiple orders together to ship together?

A: We can combine shipping in the same order and save you money provided your product from those orders will all fit in the same container. If you want to combine orders, please contact us IN ADVANCE of placing your orders.

Q: Can I return my product?

A: We cannot accept returns on orders, as each order is custom printed. If you do have an issue with a damaged product, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue. THESE ISSUES MUST BE ADDRESSED WITHIN THREE WEEKS OF RECEIPT.

Q: My drop does not look exactly as I see online.

A: We print in CMYK and your monitor is showing you RGB colors. There may be slight variances in color with different monitor calibrations. Additionally, most of our drops have a texture that you may not see on your screen at a 5 inch size.

Q: I want a 5' square drop. How will my drop be cropped? The examples I see online are rectangular.

A: Most designs you see on the site are shown at 5x6'. It is up to Lemondrop design team's discretion on where/how to crop the design. If you are ordering a drop that is urban or has a door, the crop will start at the floor or ground.

Q: I am Canadian. What brokerage fees may be assessed with my order?

A: Please contact our global customer service for help with Non-US orders.

Q: How do I pay?

A: Currently we are using PayPal to accept payments. You can also use you credit card to pay on the Paypal site.

Q: Do you offer a military discount?
